About the Festival

The Annual Festival on the Common is a traditional, low cost family fun night.

The evening is filled with live musical performances of Christmas and holiday music. The Polar Express with live entertainment is offered from 3 to 6:30 PM. Santa is on duty starting at 4 PM, meeting with all children to get their Christmas Wish Lists. The Lighting of the Common will also take place following the reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas by our own, Mayor Concannon. The Woburn Guild of Artists puts on a wonderful free art show at the First Baptist Church. Ice carvings will be happening throughout the event. New this year: Making Magic Character Storytime!

The night is organized and run by a committee of volunteers mainly from various Woburn service groups listed below.
